"It depends on the manager and the organization if you are going to get the flexibility. I would also say don't leave money on the table when you are hired and don't accept a position just to get in the door because it is very hard to get promoted. "

"The flexibility that has been known at Cisco is decreasing at least in Finance. We were ask to come to the office 3 days a week, now that has increased to 4 and we are all ask to be in on the same days making it difficult to have schedules with the kids especially for single mothers. "

"if you do decide to take a position at Cisco, really research the department you will be working in, and make sure they are a stable org. If they are trying to grow or prove their presence in Cisco it is a big risk"

"Cisco allows for a flexible work schedule and remote working, although in reality it really depends on your role and manager. They provide support for new baby, adoption, breast feeding, and elder care. However, they have frequent layoffs, which are very stressful"
