"I felt like gender was a neutral factor, which I liked. There was a good mix of both men and women working there, and I didn't feel like gender factored into the way we interacted. Also pay is set by your job's classification and years there, so there was no gender discrimination or possibility for negotiation disparities, or lower previous salaries, to sandbag you. Your job title is X, you get paid Y. "
