"Better paths for career development. Some benefits here (great health insurance) can serve as golden handcuffs if you face a dead end. New hires should seriously consider the 401k (non-pension option) to maximize flexibility in case the job isn't one they should stay in. "

"Good policy thanks to union bargaining (almost all employees are covered by a union). 8 weeks came out of accumulated sick leave. C-sections receive 16 weeks total, "normal" births receive 14 weeks total.
Employees at the highest executive category are not covered by a union and only receive sick leave.
Paternity leave was also recently introduced for unionized employees."
