"Never a dull moment in this industry. Be prepared, you will be talked down to and dismissed. You will not be respected for any experience or ideas you bring. The guys bond over golf and you will not be included, decisions still be made without you. You will be pressured to step down on items because the men will scratch each other’s backs. "

"The culture of ClubCorp is a patriarchal one. Women are generally corralled into the culturally "feminine" jobs, like Reception and Membership Relations while men more easily work their way through management ranks. Also, the environment breeds creepy old men who sexually harass you and get away with it. Since everything is membership based, General Managers will rarely take action against a member, even if they are a direct threat to the employees. "
