"I strongly discourage other women from working at ConEd. Many employees are stuck in a very old mindset and management looks the other way and doesn’t try to fix it. Very sexist culture that they don’t care enough to improve. "

"Con Edison has a progressive leadership team that strives to improve the culture of diversity and inclusion across the company. It's not just talk. All of the managers receive training in order to attract and retain happy employees. Women are encouraged to take classes, get training, and explore opportunities for career and personal growth. Best company I have ever worked for in terms of how women are treated, and I have worked for companies and nonprofits whose mission it is to further a woman in economic, educational and healthcare opportunities. "

"The benefits are good as they still have pensions in place but on the flip side, a lot of the population is stagnant and uninterested in change and innovation because of this. "
