Overall good work-life balance. Depending on the department you are in there may be flexibility to work from home though some managers still require face time. Good maternity leave policy and generally a family focused company with lots of perks for kids too (holiday party, events, free books, etc)

There is also an additional 8 weeks of part time transitional leave after your regular leave is over to help the employee/family adjust back into the workforce which I found incredibly helpful.

Overall, you can expect to be treated as an equal. HQ employees are more equal despite most having never been in the field where the work is done.

Equality is present. The CEO is a woman, an ethnic woman at that. There are women in leadership positions across the district.

H+K has the best paid parental leave in the industry - covering birth moms, dads, partners, adoptive parents - and a whole suite of policies to help employees blend work and life (lots of PTO, jump-start on holidays, monthly fitness reimbursement, etc.).

If you have a young family, this is NOT the place for you. If you want to start a new family; this is not for you. If you want to learn a ton, have autonomy on your program, and have a stressful, but rapid growth phase, this might be for you.

I feel that women are treated very fairly here. We have many women in leadership positions in all administrative / finance areas. We also have many female attorneys and partners. Our managing partner in Cleveland is Female too.
