Great work/life balance. All companies in the CRO industry are crazy busy but Clinipace is very understanding when you have family obligations. The hours can be flexible. Challenging work responsibility.

I've worked here for over 5 years and it is a Good Ole Boy environment. Very few women are in higher management positions and it seems to be those that are in those positions are stifled by the male dominance. There is little opportunity as a female to advance your career path and to do so is like having the winning lottery ticket.

the maternity leave policy is laughable. you're forced to use all your sick time and short term disability to get some payment. the paternity leave on the other hand allows for 2 full weeks paid - moms get just one week full pay. it's disgusting quite frankly.

Until they separated from eBay, PayPal had no paid maternity leave, just whatever you could get through FLMA. I got 12 weeks because I had come from Braintree (which got acquired by PayPal) and they grandfathered in the Braintree policy. After the split, they started to offer 8 weeks maternity leave and 8 weeks parental bonding leave, so women now get 16 weeks. They are trying hard to be a company that supports women, but they are still very corporate in many ways and not always super progressive.
