"Dell really cares about employee's mental, physical, and financial health. They really care about diversity and inclusion. There are also employee resource groups to meet people with similar interests and who want to serve as allies. The resource group topics include: women, veterans, disabilities, pride, planet sustainability, multicultural perspectives, Latino, Asians, interfaith, young professionals, family balance, flexible work, and black professionals. It is an amazing place to work. They train their employees well, and everyone is willing to help answer your questions so you can succeed. I really enjoy their graduate development program too where I can connect with other recent college grads all over the world! You also have a lot of opportunity to grow and develop at this company. I also enjoy the flexibility of working fully remote. Work-life balance is amazing. I love this company, my role, and my team!"

"As a "mature" woman, I am delighted to be in my role in this company. My children are grown so that's not an issue for me but regularly, coworkers (majority are men) are clear that they have to leave at a certain time in the afternoon to coach, etc. Can't beat that. Professional, respectful, crazy busy at times. There are many support options as well for graduates, workforce returners, etc. "

"In past roles I've had "those" moments that I'm sure most of us have. Being blatantly aware you're the only woman in the room (or virtual meeting), being made to feel as though you should be thankful to get a seat at any table where decisions are made, feeling like you need to prove your value more than the guy in the adjacent role next to you. I'm also in my lower 30s and have worked extremely hard to build my career over the past 10 years, which has granted me senior level positions. I have also been made to feel, quite frequently, that I need to prove to people I support (not my boss and typically simply peers) that there's a reason I have been appointed the leadership roles I've held, outside of my looks and in spite of what they deem as a young age (old ways of thinking IMO). At Dell, I don't feel any of that because I get to work with some of the most kickass and talented women out there. I no longer feel like I need to over compensate anything to gain respect for my capabilities. "

"Where I've seen other employers promoting remote or hybrid work fall short (my past job included) is that while they say they offer this as a benefit, leadership is skeptical that flexibility translates to loss of production and lazy workers. Dell motivates by inspiring its employees rather than counting time on a clock. Personally I've never worked harder in my career, all while enjoying the flexibility of being remote and freedom from being micromanaged by outdated leadership styles."
