"In past roles I've had "those" moments that I'm sure most of us have. Being blatantly aware you're the only woman in the room (or virtual meeting), being made to feel as though you should be thankful to get a seat at any table where decisions are made, feeling like you need to prove your value more than the guy in the adjacent role next to you. I'm also in my lower 30s and have worked extremely hard to build my career over the past 10 years, which has granted me senior level positions. I have also been made to feel, quite frequently, that I need to prove to people I support (not my boss and typically simply peers) that there's a reason I have been appointed the leadership roles I've held, outside of my looks and in spite of what they deem as a young age (old ways of thinking IMO). At Dell, I don't feel any of that because I get to work with some of the most kickass and talented women out there. I no longer feel like I need to over compensate anything to gain respect for my capabilities. "

"Where I've seen other employers promoting remote or hybrid work fall short (my past job included) is that while they say they offer this as a benefit, leadership is skeptical that flexibility translates to loss of production and lazy workers. Dell motivates by inspiring its employees rather than counting time on a clock. Personally I've never worked harder in my career, all while enjoying the flexibility of being remote and freedom from being micromanaged by outdated leadership styles."

"Overall great culture, people and flexibility!
Dell is a great place to work for. From what I have seen so far, truly has an employee focused culture and embraces flexibility. It is one such company that walks the talk when it comes to being diverse and inclusive and leadership is honest and transparent in its communications with respect to its growth and future strategy. Being fairly new here, cannot yet comment on growth and career development opportunities here but you do get to work with smart and quality talent so it provides the right kind of challenge without being cut throat and overly competitive. Great benefits and work-life balance.
