"Be prepared. Document everything in writing, including following up on verbal conversations. Understand that this is a fast paced environment with a 7k of employees and 300 clients. There is a extremely high turnover rate, due to burnout and volume of work. Short staffing means you might be taking on responsibilities of others while they find any other warm body. In some cases they decide that those responsibilities will remain your at no additional pay. My department consisted of 4 and has 9 turnovers either resignation or termination. Most of these individuals separated in less than a year. If you are a seasoned professional beware of backbiting and be prepared to explain to yourself over childish thing that have no business on the workplace. Do not expectations of raises, or promotions for outstanding performance but be prepared to receive more work. You will need to push back, in a very kind way. Again DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. Do expect to be assigned extra work until the position is filled and be aware this make take months or not ever happen. Do not expect to be compensated for the extra work you are doing either. The atmosphere can be toxic, but most of the employees are good people. The company has Potential for greatness but seems extremely reluctant to change. If you can keep your head down and can manage through these things it’s a great place to get experience. "
