The parental leave policies and sick leave policies are great. The company handbook backs you up to make sure you have the right to take the time you need to take care of your kids. ERGs promote diversity and empower women. All positions are required to interview one under represented minority and one woman prior to offering anyone the job.

The issues are the same as any automotive company, no better, no worse. As long as you are not looking for a company actively advancing diversity, inclusion, or strategic advancement, it will be a good company. In fact, their culture discourages crude and aggressive communication.

Flexibility is not valued by management, and that is something that needs to be considered when accepting an offer.

No formal flex time or work from home policy everything is at manager's discretion- most managers frown on it even though most positions do not require you to be in the office to complete tasks.

It’s a great environment, management is very professional and more than anything understanding when it comes to absolutely anything. I have a large family and I know if something ever comes up all it takes is a convo with my director and he chimes in with a solution or idea.

Employees set their own work life balance. There is a minimum number of chargeable hours per year, other than that you decide how much time you want to take off and how much you want to work.
