Your doing good to get your annual review every two years most have to wait three, four or even more years before their manager bothers with the review. And no their is not any additional consideration regarding compensation for the annual reviews missed, nor do they believe in giving cost-of-living raises. Be prepared, as you are waiting for your review, to watch the opposite sex to make double the wages and compensation even if you have a higher education, more experience and outperform them. Don’t bother bringing it up, they make up multiple job titles for the basically the same job functions to avoid any discrimination claims."
