Every day is an adventure, and you are proud of your accomplishments once a project is completed. However, the lack of monetary compensation will make it difficult to make ends meet in the long run.

I can think of no other company that prioritizes its people first the way facebook does.

While things are definitely by no means equal at the moment for women and men, a new Diversity & Inclusion department was introduced this year to try and close gaps and restore balance. I think we're moving in a good direction, and it'll get even better with more badass women applying for jobs here.

I believe new mothers get up to 16 weeks paid leave. New fathers also get decent paid leave, though I can't remember how many weeks.

I have experienced many different phases while working at Facebook - both personally and professionally - and felt extremely supported along the way (becoming a mom, taking on leadership roles, etc). It also helps to have strong women role models represented in leadership/executive level roles across the org.

Great place to work for women. The company pushes very hard for work / life balance for women at all stages - single, married, mothers, etc.

They strive for a supportive culture and definitely champion women, but the organizational structure is inefficient.

Very accommodating place to work with great benefits, but know for certain men in my same role make more than I do

Great place to grow and work hours are flexible. Might not be a good place for new moms, who wants to be around baby and breastfeed one to one.

Great place for working moms - balance is definitely there, but I think the pace in general is a little too lax.
