"Enterprise has a certain culture. Whether that culture supports women, I don't know. Male or female, you have to be a tough nut to deal with what we do at ERAC. As far as work life balance, you dont get much PTO and you have to be firm about working only your targeted 48 hours."

"Over all a pretty good place to work, depending on the department you're in. Maternity leave is good compared to many other companies (10 weeks paid) but is still sorely lacking. Your options for upward mobility will, in most departments, top out at a middle manager or senior manage role if you don't have experience working in a rental branch. This is a great place to work if you get into rental right out of college and can spare a few years of physical labor and long hours to work your way up the food chain. Opportunities feel like they're presented equally to men and women in terms of promotion, however I've noticed men in positions of power are more likely to pull other men into strategy meetings, leaving women without a seat at the table. That being said, most men in leadership positions who I've encountered are open to feedback and do make efforts to fix issues (like failing to include women in important conversations) if those issues are brought to their attention. In a nutshell: the men here are still "men" but they are more likely to accept and act on feedback, rather than blow you off, as men in some other companies might. Additional points for having a female CEO and a female COO."

"I work in our Corporate Office, which both manages and supports our Groups in the field. The experience at Corporate is very different from the experience of those working in the field. Corporate adheres to a standard 8am- 5pm M-F schedule, with schedule flexibility varying department to department. Days consist primarily of desk work, meetings, and travel as needed. Field work (in rental branches) requires much longer hours, primarily physical and sales labor (car cleaning, car running, direct customer interaction, etc.) and flexibility adheres to retail-work rules (i.e- can you get someone to cover your shift? etc.) "

"Enterprise is a great sales company if you have the time to dedicate to the job. They have a great training program that will open doors once you no longer work there. When you have a family, it becomes more difficult. Working 10-12 hours/day and then having to go to a training after work or work the weekends is difficult when you have a family at home, you barely get to see them. "

"Maternity leave does not start until the day you have the baby so I worked up until 2 days before my due date and then took my vacation time until my baby was born 5 days later. Once you've been with the company for 2 years you qualify for 8 weeks maternity leave. I chose to take vacation time for the extra two weeks. "
