June 2018

Depending where you are at with your career and personal goals, the company may or may not be a good fit. Females hold leadership positions but for what I see have very limited abilities to effect changes. If you are at a point where you want to effect change and exercise leadership skills and advance your career, it’s not the place for you, the fear and avoidance of conflict is pervasive and starts with CEO direct reports. Culture is all about keeping peace and avoiding confrontation or even healthy debate at all costs. No innovation at all as management understands the need to change as criticism. If you look at this point to be more domestic oriented they offer very nice benefits for moms and families. Go with the flow, raise no waves and you will be happy.

flexibility is not universal - it is up to the manager and when a manager supports flexibility that is not uniform in their department, other managers and HR reps who don't support it lash out in insidious ways.

Great people! Tons of opportunity for those in consulting. More limited opportunities in corporate functions, but I think that's expected.

Women are treated equally but due to the culture of the parent company (another race) where they view women as lower to men.

November 2015

There are no advancement opportunities for women. Management is 100% male. Maternity leave is 12 weeks UNPAID. You can collect CA disability but that's it. 10 days of paid vacation. No flex time, no working from home. Have to work a minimum of 10 hrs per day regardless of whether you have work or not. I was literally told to fill my day with "messing around on the internet". I left after 3 yrs because of the blatant discrimination and lack of opportunities for women.
