June 2017

Recently a lot of management turnover has brought in a lot of outsiders who operate to please only the shareholders rather than building a strong, gender-diverse company.

This employer is innovative and entrepreneurial, but can sometimes lack clarity and make it difficult to feel successful. This employer promotes women in business and has a supportive non-profit foundation that supports women entrepreneurs.

December 2016

Difficult to maintain a work-life balance. Several employees have left for maternity leave and not returned to this company. Difficult to pursue outside interests such as volunteer work and advocacy participation due to the high demand of employees time. Political environment.

January 2016

There are air of women in management, but it is an old school corporate mentality kind of place, so there is a definite boys club.

November 2015

This company was founded by men, and is still a men-centered environment with all executive positions controlled by men. It is an old-school, conservtive firm where the tone is serious.

July 2015

If you care about doing a good job, you must possess and exercise extremely proficient communication skills. I am referring to those that enable you to allow decision making males to believe that some ideas are theirs and be willing to provide the PowerPoint or whatever is required to get that idea approved. I know, suck it up, pay it forward and hope it comes back to you someday. It's a man's world at Pfizer.
