"It helps the community, but they don't really embrace motherhood with flexiblity with telecomute or maternity benefits. "

"This organization is not family friendly. There is no paid maternity only "short term disability." Contracts are 10 months so if you will deliver during July or August you do not qualify for any short term disability. Teachers are expected to be available before and after contract hours with short notice. This is difficult when you have set hours for childcare."
