November 2017

It's a great place to work but the office culture, specifically the partners, foster favoritism with regard to assignments and professional growth but otherwise, colleagues are nice and it's an affable group to work with.

It's a very male heavy environment, especially in upper management.

small and so no real HR which causes problems for things like maternity leave or changes in policies - it's all case by case which is less fair

January 2017

The opportunities for internal promotion is minimal- this is a very lateral organization. Directors do not actively vouch for members of their teams to receive title changes. Limited professional development opportunities. However, work culture is great and constantly surrounded by supportive, creative, intelligent, and driven colleagues.

December 2016

Overall decent place to work. Maternity leave not great - partially paid. Benefits are difficult as you must stay within the Main Line system in order to avoid paying an astronomical out-of-pocket amount for care. Small bonus (<$300) to FT employees each year.

April 2016

Although policies may seem to promote work-life balance this may vary depending on the team and manager. Many managers do not value having a family thus will be far more strict when it comes to so-called flex-time. Management does not get involved in the way different departments are run (or will claim to rectify but never do). A lot of bad leadership overall with women consistently demoted or passed over for a mediocre white male.

Because my husband and I work at the same company, we only qualify for 12 weeks unpaid FMLA combined. He took 2 weeks of vacation to bond.
