  • Took Maternity Leave Here? (Weeks)

It's a shame they don't offer any paid maternity leave. We are forced to use all of our vacation and sick time which leaves us with nothing when returning to work. There is also a lot of pressure to come back to work as soon as possible.

Establish work-life balance and boundaries from day one. Be kind and supportive to other women in a heavily female-staffed organization.

June 2016

The hours are long; it is tough to go from a contract to a FT position if you are American; meetings are competitive. On the other hand, the health benefits are great.

December 2015

No work life balance. Not a lot of flexibility for working moms, including close colleagues of mine. Yes you can leave the office to pick up your kid, but you'll arrive home and be expected to answer 40 new emails and handle issues at all hours of the day and night and through holidays. Senior leadership tends to be dismissive of female perspective, despite customer data showing a lack of appeal to female customers. Very confusing, slow, and political promotion schedule.

November 2015

Hard to network and share information with other employees. They prefer to keep you in the dark about what others are receiving. Expect hardball starting salary negotiations and when you "settle" with the expectation of yearly increases prepare to be disappointed - you get nothing.

October 2015

It is women owned and most of the staff is female. Almost the opposite of many companies in San Francisco. They are growing rapidly and have a good reputation. It can kind of be overwhelming and cut throat because it is a recruiting agency and also because it is all females. However, if you kill it the career growth is exceptional for women.

I worked there for two years. While I did not have children during that time, I did think the overall benefits were good. The company environment is not very conducive to work life balance unless you are much more senior.
