    If you're in management, there's flexibility. If you're an hourly worker, that becomes harder.

    For hourly employees, it's a short-term disability plan. For salaried employees, it's salary continuation (the equivalent of short term disability), but you'll need to ask HR about salary continuation. They no longer include the policy in the employee handbook.
