"I had a positive learning experience during my internship. I worked on job postings, recruitment and coordination of new interns, and daily reporting. I was gifted with a squad leader that kept pushing me right from the onset of the intership. With her and other team members assistances I was able to handled a team of 13–16 interns. Managing the team helped me hone my experience in HR."

"My internship at GAO Tek was a highly positive experience. I was able to take on the responsibility of an Asisstant Squad Leader, which involved managing and training other interns and mentoring new candidates. This role allowed me to significantly develop my organizational, leadership, and communication skills through activities like leading team meetings and coordinating with management. "My internship at GAO Tek has been a truly valuable and enriching experience. The team is incredibly helpful, supportive, and always willing to guide interns through new tasks. Although occasional manager changes can create brief adjustment challenges, it never overshadowed the overall positive environment. "My internship at GAO Tek gave me valuable, hands-on exposure to core HR functions, including recruitment, candidate screening, communication, and virtual team coordination. Beyond daily operational tasks, I had the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities — starting as an Assistant Squad Lead and later being promoted to Squad Lead. In this role, I managed and supported a diverse group of interns from different regions, which helped me sharpen my leadership, organization, and decision-making skills in a multicultural environment.
The experience was not without challenges, particularly in adapting to evolving communication styles and remote management structures. However, these challenges strengthened my ability to stay flexible, proactive, and solution-oriented. As a woman I was squad leader of a group of full of men, but as I was the capable one they made me the SL, even our HRM was a woman. "I really enjoyed my internship at GAO Tek. I met new colleagues who are easy to work with. I also had the opportunity to be an HR Team Leader , where I managed the interns, trained the interns and monitored new candidates. In addition, I lead team meetings and coordinated directly with management. I learned how to organized schedules and assign tasks effectively. This experience helped me improve my leadership, communication skills, and my confidence. The management gave good guidance and I felt supported and able to grow. The working environment is positive and helps me to learn new things everyday. I also found new two best friends who made the workplace more fun! "

"Based on my experience as an intern, here is what I would tell another woman about working here.
I would say that this is a great place to gain a ton of hands-on experience. If you're a woman who is proactive and eager to build concrete skills, you will thrive here. The company provides a supportive environment where you're not just given busywork; you're given real responsibilities that directly impact the business. For me, that meant getting a comprehensive understanding of the entire recruitment process from start to finish, which was invaluable.
The remote flexibility is a huge plus, especially for women who need to balance other commitments. "

"I really enjoyed my time as an HR Intern here. The team was super friendly and always willing to help, and I got hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement. I learned a lot and built great connections. Some tasks were a bit repetitive, and the internship felt too short, but overall it was a valuable and enjoyable experience."

"Wonderful opportunity to gain hands on experience in a US based Company. "During my six-month internship at GAO Tek Inc., I had the privilege of working under and alongside several inspiring and competent women in leadership roles. When I initially joined as an intern in Squad B, both my Squad Leader and Assistant Squad Leader were female. They played a vital role in mentoring and supporting me during the early stages of my internship.
As I progressed to the role of Assistant Squad Leader in Squad F, the same individual—who had previously been my Assistant Squad Leader—had been promoted to Squad Leader. This not only reflected her capabilities but also showcased GAO Tek’s strong culture of merit-based growth and equal opportunity. Later, as I took on responsibilities as a Squad Leader, Assistant Platoon Leader, and ultimately Platoon Leader, I continued to work with female leaders in various capacities. I truly valued their professionalism, leadership, and collaborative spirit.
Notably, our HR Bangladesh team was managed by a female leader who consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and fostered an inclusive, respectful, and empowering work environment.

"As a woman stepping into the professional world, finding a supportive environment is important — and that’s exactly what I experienced during my internship at GAOTek. Although the internship was unpaid and remote, it offered me real responsibility, growth, and guidance throughout.
I started as a Human Resources intern and was later given the chance to become an Assistant Squad Leader. I felt trusted and respected in my role, and I appreciated how my voice and ideas were heard. The team dynamic was professional yet friendly, and I never felt limited because of my gender.
This experience helped me build confidence in leading a team, managing tasks across time zones, and adapting to international work culture. I would definitely recommend GAOTek to other women looking for a place to grow professionally in a safe, encouraging, and globally connected space.

"I interned at GAO Tek recently and honestly, it was a solid experience...especially if you're trying to build real-world skills in a remote setting. The team was diverse and supportive, and I appreciated how they gave me space to grow while still keeping expectations clear.
I learned how to communicate professionally across time zones, improved my organizational habits, and even got better at using tools like Microsoft Teams and shared drives- things I know will come in handy down the line.
The best part was that they trusted me to handle tasks independently, which really boosted my confidence.
Even though at times it was intense, the work taught me discipline and how to manage my time better especially since it's fully remote. I also got to collaborate with interns from all over the world, which gave me a nice dose of global teamwork vibes.
If you're self-motivated and eager to learn, this is a great place to start. I left the internship feeling more prepared, more polished and with a better understanding of human resources and recruitment.

"I appreciate the flexibility the company offers, which helps maintain a good work-life balance. The upper management is friendly and approachable, creating a comfortable environment for interns to learn and grow.

"I was working as an HR Intern and later was promoted to the Squad Leader of my team. Throughout my internship experience I have learnt key HR practices essential for future employment such as job posting and advertising, sourcing and screening candidates and interviewing them. As a Squad Leader I have mastered such skills as team management and coordinating, prioritising and responsibilities delegating. There are 2 weekly meetings for interns during which the management check on them and track their progress and provides some help if needed. This is really a good thing about the internship as it provides you with training and support as well as flexible working hours."
