"It's a great place to work. GE does well at promoting women in management. However, there is a huge discrepancy in the technical track where I am often the only woman in a meeting (>95% time). That may be due to limited number of women in the technical talent pool. However, I've never felt I am treated differently because I am a woman."

"Very flexible hours to support family. . .as long as you get the work done. There are good tools to allow work out of the office so that you can get work done even if you can't be in the office. This is was very helpful when I needed to deal with elderly parents recently, as well as when I had a young child at home."
