While the SolarCity brand and reputation is fantastic, the percentage of women who are in management level positions is roughly 10%. This company can sometimes have the feel of a "Boys Club" atmosphere.

My department has a very high turnover rate. Mostly women, but the manager is partial to supervisors, and young blondes as well. Other departments my be run more professionally

This company cares about hours worked more than anything. Even if you do a great job, if you aren't physically at the office much over 40 hours, they don't give you much respect. There are no women in leadership positions.
