Struggles are real so having a company that promotes a network of working parents is great as we all have so much in common and sometimes just need to vent/talk/get advice. GE offers flexibility that so many companies don't - been thankful for this especially during differnt key milestones in life and they help me realize i just need to ask when i need help.

Great place for women. My boss is female & her boss, the GM, is also female. This is a review of GE Healthcare.

It's a very responsible company to women, latins and GLBTA, but one could always find someone in the organization that is not.

It is a great company and in my time I have seen more women get promoted into leadership positions. Overall management has a flexible work-life balance and culture, but there are occasional managers you stumble upon who are old school and less open to flex policies. Most are great though.

GE adopted permissive leave several years ago. What that means is that there is no accruing of time with a PTO bucket. You take what you need. They are also very flexible with appointments and working from home when needed.

This is a good place to work, if you find the right team. Depending on the sub-business you are in within GE the work/life balance along with respect and equal promotion of women and minorities differs.
