As a education system, the working environment is very friendly and mostly stress-free. There might be a little stress when you need to meet the manager expectation, but that's all about it. Overall, I enjoy working in ASU very much.

I think the IS department doesn't allow for many females in the department due to work life balance and the inability to work remotely.

No inherent gender discrimination, but treatment varies greatly by coworker and customer. You can move up but be prepared to work harder.

November 2015

It was generally a good place to work and there are some great people in the firm. However, there is significant pressure from US management to meet targets and to work harder, work longer. There is no real acknowledgement of a work/life balance. Whilst the firm was getting to grips with maternity leave before I left, there was no policy on how to distribute the workloads of those on mat leave so as not to overwork the rest of the team. Returning from mat leave appeared difficult and very few, if any, were able to make part-time work for them.

February 2015

I worked here for 2 years. It was very unprofessional. The manager had favorites who she allowed to get away with outrageous behavior.
