"This is a challenging place to start off on the ground floor. If you are coming in at a management level, I've seen many women be incredibly successful. But if you start lower, I feel like it's been harder for me to climb than my male colleagues."

"A) Strong Women at Gilead group which provides excellent opportunities:
1. for career growth (forums, meetings to learn from successful women both internal and external)
2. to be connected with a mentor
3. to promote wellness/work balance

"Gilead is very diverse both in gender and race. There are women in leadership positions all the way down the ranks. Gilead has excellent benefits, parental leave policies (ie bonding leave), and pay. It is a very lean company, so the work loads are full, but we are paid well. Corporate culture is very diverse and Gilead does its best to ensure leadership also reflects that in the US. Great place to work!"
