"This is a terrible place to work. I'm trying to leave.
Finding cool jobs in global health at an entry level can be tough. GHS exploits this by hiring loads of relatively recent graduates, paying them below market wages, working them to burnout and replacing them.
Managers bully underlings here. There is no real HR presence, so there's no accountability to junior staff. Favoritism is common. Not chosen as a favorite? You're gonna have a bad time.
You will be underpaid here. You will probably feel exploited (working >50 hour weeks, sometimes >70). And you will probably be made to feel terrible about your work, day-in and day-out.
Their cool office space and free meals belie how badly people suffer here. Talk to a former GHSer before accepting a job here (current employees may feel pressure to be positive). There are plenty."

"Employees, especially female employees, are overworked and underpaid at this company. The work environment is toxic. Look elsewhere to find work that is meaningful (I'm embarrassed by the human rights record of numerous GHS clients) and where you'll be treated well. "

"Very little flexibility. I've experienced negative consequences for creating boundaries (e.g. scheduling evening workout classes, leaving laptop at work) in effort to promote a healthy balance."
