"My specific office is run by a woman and has many women in upper level positions who are respected and listened to by all colleagues regardless of gender. I have felt respected and comfortable in the office and other work environments due to this. However, the demanding workload and expectations for fast project turn-around and deadlines create a severe work-life imbalance. I do not have kids of my own, but I would imagine it being very difficult to have a healthy work-life balance with children while working here."
