"women are treated as a sub-culture at Hexagon divisions. they fill a very minimal quota and then turn off the spigot in hiring and promotions. 've been promoted twice and each time my Director 'de jour' has made a point of commending himself nad the compan yon" look how we are moving women forward - in the context that they are putting women on an escalator and the promotions and accomplishments aren't on the efforts of the women themselves. very old boy network and back handed sexist comments -" awe we were just kiddin" - comments when something wholly inappropriate is said.
Recently I recommended a young woman field tech for promotion and was told - haven't you already promoted enough of "you" I've several offers and requests from other companies to onboard with them - deciding if I want to do so or just switch gears and pursue 100% a LLC I started 10 years ago that is doing well (weekend projects unrelated to my current position)"

"its regrettably is still a boys club, some issues with sexual harassment, undervalue of women , very few women managers, I was the most senior person in the room at a few meetings and asked to get the coffee lol - I politely declined and received a look of shock - then a few of them stumbled out to get their own coffee"

"Toxic culture with no method of recourse if you feel bullied or discriminated against. A member of HR is not a champion of employees and fosters a scare tactic culture. "
