"Don't expect to get the same pay as a male cohort. I was in the same role as a substandard employee (who later was fired) and found out after he showed me his pay stub (he was asking me if they paid his PTO out correctly), that he was making over 30 cents more per hour. I had been with the company for 8 years; he, less than 2. It was a slap in the face. "
