      "Doesn't seem to be a lot of advancement. In most departments, it seems employees are just trying to keep their heads above water"

      "I have worked here for 5 years and been promoted 3 times. There is advancement if you are willing to work hard."

      "Great place to start your career and move up, if you work hard and put in 60+ hours/week. Don't expect any flexibility if/when you wish to start a family, however. Layoffs are also a reality, so after you reach a certain level you will likely be replaced with college graduates. A select few who play politics can delay this by getting into management, but eventually this reality catches up with all executives, as leadership turns over regularly and each new regime replaces all VPs, Directors, etc."
