please be prepared to wait on the men hand and foot. they do not assist with anything. they are used to being taken care of and expect to be spoken to as a child and micro managed. No one lasts long with company. Any interest you have in moving up into an Engineering position or higher will be met with a solid door slammed in your face. Education advances are reserved for only the men. I was hired as an Office Manager and within 6 months micro managed to an office clerk and had my responsibilities delegated out to others.

My experience with this store as a woman has been fair. Working under a female manager, everyone was given equal opportunity to succeed in any position. However, when I worked under a male manager, he would only hire women for Cosmetics, and only hire men for Photo. He would not allow any women to learn Photo.

They are supportive of women in established roles moving to part-time after a maternity leave. Many engineering teams have at least 1 woman in a team size of 6-9. A rare few have 2.
