"IHS Markit is not gender equal - however I think there is definitely a recognition that increasing diversity and gender equality is a desirable outcome. It has some good policies (including 6 months full pay maternity leave globally) which support this, as well as (within the UK) an benefits option for a healthcare package which includes this year for the first time fertility treatment and gender dysphoria support. Flexible working/ working from home is pretty typical(even pre pandemic) but is somewhat dependent on team/role/manager.
They need to continue to foster women's careers within the organization. Senior leadership is far more male than female, and the excuse that we operate usually in STEM industries is touted as an excuse -yet somehow in more junior levels there is a lot less disparity. "

"There are different business units with different levels of diversity; for example, the Financial group has diversity and engaged leaders, while Engineering & Product Design does not. Not a single woman at the VP level. Only two women at the next level down. There is a lot of training but do not confuse that with a commitment to change. It is a lot of white hetero men. Toxic behavior (interruptions, disrespect, gossip) is condoned. "
