"Lots of women in leadership! This is a great place to work especially with having little kids and needing to use maternity leave. You can accrue a lot of PTO and with the 6 weeks paid leave you can end up being fully paid for a whole 12 weeks of leave. Lots of job opportunities and as a woman you will feel like you are in the majority."

"IUPUI is so large that it's difficult to review the entire organization. In my small department, the professionals were all male before I was hired, but did have women in the past. I know that there was a pretty good discussion on whether to hire me or one other applicant, a guy. I believe I was chosen was because there was an incident the year prior (this is purposefully vague) which highlighted my department's lack of women. Now, there are two female professionals in this department, which is a pretty good percentage for the size. In short, IUPUI is showing initiative in hiring women in all roles, and I feel that compensation is equal when tenure is considered."
