August 2018

Unlimited sick time that I've taken advantage of a lot with my kid in day care. 3 weeks PTO, plus the week between Christmas - New Years the office is closed. Most departments are very flexible with start/leave times, taking off for doctor appts, etc. A lot of individuals work from home 1-2 days per week. There is a gym on-site. Several mom's rooms available for pumping.

I have worked in other similar industries that are typically male dominated and very few women tend to be in leadership positions. There are more women in leadership here compared to past employer. There are more women in supervisor and management roles here. I have witnessed more women promote into leadership roles here in my short time at Terex (less than 1 year). I have met other women with the company and learned how their careers blossomed here. I personally, have experienced it as well.

Some positions do not offer a lot of flexibility due to the nature of our work (a manufacturing facility). Even still, I have witnessed flexibility for women needing to drop off children at daycare, etc. Other positions that aren't as closely related to the assembly line have greater flexibility.

Great place to work where you are hired based on your skillset, not the gender you happen to be. More women being hired as we grow, and great benefits package including 4-months maternity leave. Would like to see more women holding senior leadership positions.

Sarepta has a good blend of male and female employees and provides generous maternity and paternity leave. Any dissatisfaction I have with the employer is not related to gender issues

March 2016

Generally speaking this employer is good at supporting families. The work schedule is flexible and no one scoffs at you needing to be out due to a sick kid. Although there are only 2 women VPs, there are a lot of female leaders one tier down. There is also a history of female leaders at the company.

January 2016

It's a French school, so it's conscious of certain things--vacations are vacations, for example. On the other hand, the child care leave policy is terrible and what's particularly bad is that if a woman decides to take some unpaid time, she loses her insurance. It's also hard to get clear information about various leave options.
