Don't dwell on the fact that you're a female; just be quiet and listen a lot. Once you learn how the company functions and you use processes in place competently, they'll listen to your input and consider suggestions from you.

1- ask your future manager about their managment style. 2-go in at a high salary since there is little to no chance you will ever be given a pay increase.

November 2015

Women are encouraged to develop personally and professionally within the firm. There is room for growth, opportunities to step back if necessary, an emphasis on having a personal/family life, and in enjoying where you work. It's the best legal position I've seen for young female attorneys and working mothers.
