"First & foremost - please be aware that tribal entities are immune from lawsuits as they are considered a separate jurisdiction. I wish I had known this three years ago before I accepted employment with a tribal casino. Due to this, the separate treatment I experienced as a result of COVID-19 and school closures as a working mother was considered acceptable. I was deemed unpromotable by my male boss to a Director role until I would be able to spend 6 days a week in the office, which is not possible (nor desirable) as a mother."
