The inequality is subtle, but definitely there. Comments from Male executives include fat-shaming women, judgements about woman that don't wear make-up, women making their "little" presentations, etc. Women hold mid-management positions, but there is little respect and you can never do anything "right".

Be prepared to take a back seat to the men in the office. Men will get hired who are friends of the boss before they will hire any women who are qualified. On top of that, they get promoted and get longer lunches than the women of the office who have been there 3 years longer.

Work-life balance is skewed towards work. Women are mostly considered inferior to male counterparts.

October 2016

Please just don't. It's really depressing. They don't promote women often, and when they do, they're usually only because they're the ones who are compliant and will do whatever the higher-ups (men) tell them to do without talking back.

July 2015

I've worked there for 5 years, and there are plenty of women working for the company but you'll find few in technology or finance. Generally I think both sexes are treated fairly, but you do need to do quite a bit of networking to move up. Maternity leave seems to be given freely and no one seems to judge to harshly on taking the time.

This is a company that was founded by a woman, and women are valued and treated equally. There are more men than women in traditional roles, however.
