"Kaiser Permanente is a great place to work in regards to work/life balance and accommodation for working mothers. I don't think opportunities are the same for men and women. It is a very traditional organization and men are treated more favorably than women."

"I've seen a number of women have multiple children across two departments, all of whom were able to negotiate approximately 5 months off (I assume some of it was paid time, and some it was unpaid time). All but one returned to f/t jobs, with flexibility for working at home etc."
