"This industry is primarily dominated by women, except the higher up you go, you realize the men are in charge. The men will look down on you, and try to make you feel small and insignificant, plus they hold an arrogant attitude and from my personal experience, they don't listen. I have literally been laughed at in a meeting and dismissed because I mentioned that we have an obligation to help our residents, but the owners and VP wanted to focus on the financials rather than the people who pay their bills."
