Expect to be working in a boys club. It is entertainment after all. But the hours are pretty fantastic (typically 9:30/10-6/6:30) and they are flexible with doctors appointments, etc. Lots of smart and experienced people in this company. It's the best of the best afterall. Pay isn't great but it's worth it for a few years for the experience. They have the money to pay you - negotiate.

The work-life balance will be terrible if you work as a project manager for either publishing division--to meet deadlines, you will probably be working 10-12 hour days plus weekends for 8-9 months of the year. Women who disagreed with management were openly labelled as "problems" within the company and were essentially forced out through alienation. Women are promoted up into management roles, but there is a pay difference between men and women for most roles.

After working here 16 years, I have witnessed so much nepotism and office politics that there's little to no hope for promotion and advancement especially for non-whites. Minorities are very limited to lower support manual work.
