It's okay. Most of the Tecolote people I work with are very nice, but the overall company seems to be stuck in the past.

Most employees work at military facilities with customers and there's an expectation that contractor employees will work set hours. No telecommuting or flex time. You can leave early once in a while, for appointments.

There's no paid parental leave. They do offer disability insurance (employees pay the premiums).

Good work life balance, but sad to see nearly no women at the top. Still a boys club with very little ethnic diversity

March 2016

Collegiality and hard work are valued here. Work life balance is part of the conversation here, however it can be elusive. Significant travel can be required, depending on the position, and expenses are initially covered by the employee, to be later reimbursed by CSG. This can be a significant financial burden on recent graduates just getting on their feet.

January 2016

I've worked here for five years. There are plenty of women on staff at every level, and the work/life balance is phenomenal. But, there is little room for advancement and maternity leave could be more generous considering this is a quasi-academic, lefty institution. The network of networks that we pride ourselves on nurturing strives for diversity, but I've been in plenty of rooms with only old white men in a place of power.

Very unstructured on-boarding process. For a technology company, terrible technical support. No instructions or information on how to get up and running on corporate computer systems.
