"I worked here for almost 2 years and for the most part I loved it. The company culture is amazing and everyone in my office was friendly and I always felt valued. There are definitely pockets of the company where it is male dominated and in support services that is a bigger problem than in the insurance departments. For me, it was difficult because I had a male boss that was very driven by his head (and not the one on his shoulders) and on top of that IT was all male and totally didn't think a young woman could come to bat with them although once they realized I could they were very nice guys. Come for the culture and grow quickly into an insurance role if you can - you have more room for advancement and more resources for women to get into the corner office that way. "

"Be resilient. Challenge status quo. Learn how to integrate work & life, it's not a balance"

"I worked in the UK and reported to a manager that was completely sexist and created a quite cut throat and hostile environment. Not all members of staff were held to same standard. In fairness I worked there during a time of transition. The culture was "cult" like as described by the COO at the time M. Frost. Key values were replaced by the "Lockton 10 commandments"."
