Working in production at NBC can be family friendly but you have to be in specific, structured/shift roles. Otherwise, you can leave when your work is done or finish from home but you have to be in the office to do the majority of your work. Because its production it can be difficult to get time off for holidays.

November 2015

The Medical Center suffers from competing visions. The old employees want to maintain the status quo, while the new recruits envision a research oriented institution. The competing visions make it difficult to get things done. The Cancer Institute doesn't seem to be very interested in recruiting women to top positions.

It actually cares about diversity - it is hot on the CEO's agenda and an issue that is driven from the top and shared throughout the organisation. It even publishes papers on how it is doing on the diversity front.
