"While it generally has decent maternity leave, the environment is a bit dysfunctional in the sense that you’re penalized if you excel and if you’re not very good at your job they just keep you on. This puts a lot more burdens on competent workers without any reward or recognition. You’re expected to just do more with less. They are also very inflexible in terms of remote work - it’s just not an option even if you have a compelling health issue. You’re forced to take time off or tough luck. Take more than 3 days of unpaid leave and you’re kicked off health insurance. "

"Lyft is a great place to work. They support work life balance and culture. The upward mobility used to be better but now they have changed the structure to need based promotions only instead of performance based. Additionally, the communicated between teams can be messy and not streamlined. Lyft has amazing amenities. Catered lunch, vast selection of snacks, discounted rides, etc. "

"The parental leave policies and sick leave policies are great. The company handbook backs you up to make sure you have the right to take the time you need to take care of your kids.
ERGs promote diversity and empower women.
All positions are required to interview one under represented minority and one woman prior to offering anyone the job. "

"Flexibility all depends on the team you work on. If you work as a Customer Experience Associate, you have little flexibility. However, salaried positions and positions that are not working directly with customers have a great amount of flexibility"

"Ensure that you have a strong grasp and understanding of what your expected work schedule will be - specifically if you will be in one of the customer support roles. Evenings or weekends for most of these roles are required, and you are unable to work from home. "
