Don't until they get their culture straightened out. There is flexible hours in certain departments, so there is that.

The University supports and promotes women regularly. Women are given projects to lead and are able to work directly with CEO.

Be firm when negotiating salary and title. They tend to make it seem like there are better candidates to intimidate you into lowering your demands and expectations.

There isn't a whole lot of room for advancement and growth. They are trying to work on it but it is fairly small and established so unclear how much change will be made

February 2018

The CEO, Board members and the Executive Leadership team are very focused on driving greater diversity and inclusion throughout the organisation. The opportunity to advance is good. Like most tech companies, there are far more men in the workplace than women and the company is trying to re-dress that balance through diversity groups, participation and sponsorship of STEM initiatives and the pro-active pursuit of females in particular in the recruitment cycles. Scrutiny is also given to promotion panels and talent management so I personally feel confident that the organisation is making the right steps to support women and their careers.

December 2017

My big thing is the benefits in particular maternity pay which is very low, 90% of your salary for 12 weeks (takes 12 weeks to feel like a normal human being!). Then it is SMP fir the remaining period which almost forces you to return to work if your household income is reasonable.

May 2017

Very low ration of women to men in managerial roles. Unfortunately the women in the managerial roles aren't given the support they need or they don't have time to coach/support other women in the workplace. It is a hugely male dominated It and projects dept where every day there's just another man measuring his 'wiggly jiggly' against another mans wiggly jiggly. Make sure you sit at the table with everybody else and don't sit back in meeting. Speak up as your opinion counts. Women need a role model and you can be it.

It's a fair and conscientious company -- the only complaint I've heard so far is about maternity leave.
