"Unfortunately, the skewed values of the C-suite leadership of Mapbox were the root of many of the issues I experienced while at the company. With leaders that value militant performance over collaboration, community or transparency, it was hard to be bought into the goals of the company as an average employee, instead feeling as though I would be quickly replaced at the first hint of dissatisfaction. "It can be a great place for women to work, but there isn't a 'working mom culture' in every office. While you can likely have a flexible schedule, it doesn't happen on every team and definitely not in every office (I've worked in SF and DC). To their credit, I think at one point they were striving to be better at supporting women in leadership and on the board but with all the turnover in the HR department and no VP, People who knows if it's still moving forward at a leadership level."

"It is a highly political organization if you aspire to the management level. Beware your allegiances/alignments and henchmen."
