"Your treatment as a female will greatly depend on your business unit/manager. Negotiate your pay for your first position, because annual raises are not competitive and if you start on the lower end of the pay scale your compensation will only fall further and further behind others' who did negotiate."

"If you are in a corporate salaried position, there is far greater flexibility than if you are in a salaried position at a manufacturing facility. Hourly-employees have very little flexibility at all."
