December 2017

It is a fair place to work for a woman. During my tenure there were many women in executive level roles.

Rules change according to individual supervisors. One supervisor/manager will tell you to do one thing, and another will yell at you for the very thing. Lots of favoritism. Some people get away with things others cannot. Yelled at for doing things correctly.

If you have extensive expertise already regarding the job you are applying for, and if you are applying for a high level administrative or cabinet level job, you may do well. Otherwise, do not expect vertical growth. You will not be compensated competitively. Job training does not occur.

Don't expect to have equal opportunity for advancement since the only female in the C-suite is an HR exec and she has no influence.

It is a good place to start your career, but not if you desire to promote to upper management. Under this leadership women who held those roles have all been pushed out or let go and replaced by men.
