April 2018

This company is very much woman-led. Our CEO is a woman who began as a temp and worked her way up, and who is also a mom. There are inspiring stories everywhere I look.

An employer which allows employees to truly work Anywhere. Most of our team is remote at least some of the time, with hundreds remote 100% of the time. Flexible schedules, real values and people always over the bottom line. A really great company.

You have to demonstrate male like characteristics to be promoted. However they do allow flexibility (formal and informal).

Although, the department heads allow flexibility in work schedule. They are not adequately trained in how to schedule resources in a production environment.

If you are a working mom, be cautious. Be up front about the flexibility you need. They definitely aren't going to offer it to you, you have to stand up and take it.

February 2016

Pinterest is doing a ton for moms and women. The recent hring of a female head of Diversity and Inclusion is a good step. The maternity and paternity benefits keep improving, and we are one of the best employers about hiring pregnant women. For such a small company, it's really impressive to see the number of pregnancies happening right now! There's a growing concern about lack of women at the executive level, but we have a few roles "to be hired" at the moment. If those can be filled by women it would be a huge step forward.

I've worked here for 4 years. Women are treated fairly here. If you are on the Property Management side there is a ton of opportunity for growth...not so much at the corporate office.
